QuarterSans is a display font, created in a week's time by Jatin Khanna.
After enrolling himself into Ellen Lupton's Domestika course (thanks, Robert!) he got inspired to create a font based on what he learnt in the course.
As a fan of Sans Serif fonts and Art Deco, Jatin set out to create his very own rendition of a font that hopes to do justice to all these elements. The project was sparked by letters that carry qualities like hard work, no fuss, and is upright with a touch of quirky and retro look.
His process is documented here, the font is available under the SIL Open Font License, meaning you can use QuarterSans today, completely free of charge.
The next steps are to submit this font on Google Fonts.
